Andy Toland is an experienced and talented trial lawyer who concentrates his practice on complex civil litigation including representing plaintiffs in catastrophic injury matters, medical malpractice cases, wrongful death cases, product liability cases and major automobile accidents. In the employment area, Mr. Toland regularly litigates whistleblower claims, employee benefits matters, and represents victims of discrimination, and victims of wage theft among other wage and hour misconduct issues.
Mr. Toland has served as counsel in some of the largest multi-million dollar verdicts and settlements in the mid-Atlantic region. In addition, he frequently argues appeals in federal and state appellate courts. Mr. Toland possesses remarkable legal acumen and excels at the ability to present complex legal issues into clear and convincing written and oral arguments.
Mr. Toland is a 1983 graduate of the University of Chicago, where he obtained a B.A. degree with honors in the University’s Politics, Economics, Rhetoric and Law program. In 1986, he obtained a juris doctor degree from Cornell Law School.
